Evans Construction, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled Crushing Plant Operator to safely operate and maintain crushing equipment for aggregate production in outdoor environments.

You will monitor material flow, perform routine maintenance, and ensure quality standards while complying with MSHA safety rules. A strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating crushers or similar heavy equipment in aggregates/mining.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read manuals and safety procedures.
• Basic computer or tablet reporting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate primary and secondary crushing equipment to produce crushed stone, sand, and gravel.
• Monitor plant operations for material flow, gradation, and quality.
• Perform routine inspections and address maintenance needs.
• Adjust controls to regulate size and throughput.
• Maintain production logs and equipment reports.
• Ensure safety compliance with MSHA and company policies.
• Assist with start-up/shutdown and housekeeping.
