Job summary

Evans Construction Co is seeking a Crusher Laborer to support aggregate production by assisting in safe operation of crushing equipment and performing general labor at the crusher plant. The role includes maintenance, clean-up, and material handling while following safety policies.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and comfort working outdoors in varying weather. Physical tasks and basic mechanical aptitude are required; prior construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous experience in aggregate, construction, or industrial environments is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safety awareness are important.

Responsibilities

• Performs machinery maintenance and repairs.
• Unplugs and shovels off conveyors and screens.
• Changes out screens, rollers, cone liners, etc.
• Repairs conveyor problems and lubricates moving parts.
• Sets up and takes down crusher equipment, moves parts with a skidsteer, and handles tarping and material shifting.
• Keeps crusher area clean and free of debris.
• Operates equipment including skidsteer and loader when trained.
• Assists with material handling around the crusher area.
