Job summary

Peckham Industries is seeking a Crusher Plant Maintenance Operator in Shaftsbury, VT to safely operate, inspect, and repair crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.

You will monitor plant performance, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support reliable production while following safety procedures. This outdoor role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and coordinating with supervisors and maintenance staff to keep operations efficient.

Qualifications

• Safety procedures for operating, inspecting, and maintaining crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Monitor plant operation and material flow to identify issues and take corrective action.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, adjustments, servicing, welding, and component replacement on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
• Inspect guards, walkways, and safety components and correct unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate status with supervisors and maintenance personnel and other employees.
• Assist with plant modifications and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities
