Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Plant Operator to operate and monitor a rock crushing plant. The role focuses on safe, efficient plant operations, routine inspections, and timely maintenance support in an outdoor, industrial setting.

You will monitor equipment, assist with repairs, and coordinate with teammates to ensure continuous production while adhering to MSHA safety procedures.

Qualifications

Previous plant, aggregate, quarry, mining, heavy equipment, or similar industrial experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
Strong safety awareness.
Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor rock crushing plant operations.
Monitor the feeding and distribution of aggregate throughout the plant.
Monitor gauges, instruments, and plant machinery.
Perform plant inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Communicate with team members throughout the work area.
Assist with maintenance and repairs of plant equipment.
Operate other plant equipment as needed.
Perform other duties on the property when the plant is idle or down due to mechanical issues.
Follow all MSHA regulations and required safety procedures.
