Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations in Wisconsin. This role involves operating the processing plant, crushers, screens, wash-plants, and loaders to feed the production line and support stockpile/load-out of finished material.

Responsibilities include routine equipment maintenance, daily site inspections, and maintaining a clean work area. Strong emphasis on safety and communication with Foreman and Mine Management is required.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues with the foreman and mine management.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site including shoveling and skid steer operation.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including labor work, cutting, fabricating and welding.

Responsibilities

The Position:

We're looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator working as part of quarry operations to produce aggregate and construction materials. Quarry operations include maintaining and operating the processing plant, (crushers, screens, wash-plants) operating loaders to feed the processing plant and assisting in the stockpile and load-out of finished product. Crush/wash Operators are responsible for operating several types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, loaders, skid steers, water trucks, man lifts, dozers and excavators

Requirements:

• Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues with the Foreman and Mine Management while performing daily inspections of the plant site.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site including shoveling and skid steer operation
