Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for quarry operations to produce aggregate and construction materials. You will operate loaders, crushers, wash plants and related equipment, feeding the processing plant and assisting in stockpile management.

The role emphasizes safe operation, routine inspections, and teamwork with foremen and mine managers across diverse site conditions. Training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy equipment safely and productively in quarry environments.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues clearly to Foreman and Mine Management.
• Maintain clean, organized work sites and assist in plant maintenance tasks.

• Follow proper safety procedures, including incident reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Position:

We're looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator working as part of quarry operations to produce aggregate and construction materials. Quarry operations include maintaining and operating the processing plant, (crushers, screens, wash-plants) operating loaders to feed the processing plant and assisting in the stockpile and load-out of finished product. Crush/wash Operators are responsible for operating several types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, loaders, skid steers, water trucks, man lifts, dozers and excavators

Requirements:

• Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
