Job summary

Northeast Asphalt, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will maintain and operate the processing plant and various construction equipment for quarry operations, including loaders and excavators.

The Position

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to work as part of quarry operations to produce aggregate and construction materials. Duties include maintaining and operating the processing plant (crushers, screens, wash‑plants), operating loaders to feed the plant, and assisting in stockpiling and load‑out of finished product. Crush/wash operators must safely and efficiently operate multiple types of construction equipment such as loaders, skid steers, water trucks, man lifts, dozers and excavators.

Requirements

• Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant‑site issues with the foreman and mine management while conducting daily site inspections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site, including shoveling and skid‑steer operation.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs, including labor work, cutting, fabricating and welding.
• Follow proper safety procedures, including incident reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
