Hornblower Group is hiring a bartender for onboard service aboard a cruise vessel. You will mix high-quality beverages, provide prompt service, and remain hospitable to guests and crew. You must know beverage offerings, adhere to recipes, and operate the POS system.

Responsibilities include setting up the bar, restocking per par specifications, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting guests with menu descriptions and cruise routes. Flexible scheduling including nights and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of beverage recipes.
• Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to operate a point-of-sale system and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers.
• Follow beverage recipes and maintain knowledge of offerings and prices.
• Provide bar service to guests and servers across the cruise.
• Set up and break down bar, stock and restock per par specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of bar and service areas.
• Accurately charge guests and manage POS transactions.
