Job summary

UnCruise Adventures seeks a Hotel Steward in Juneau to deliver fine dining in a casual setting, clean guest cabins and public spaces, and assist with bartending tasks. The role requires a strong guest-service mindset and ability to adapt to dynamic daily activities on a passenger vessel.

Responsibilities include taking orders with allergy notes, dining room setup for three meals daily, galley assistance, and safety training participation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in a full-service restaurant with strong wine knowledge and food terminology required.
• One to two years of experience in housekeeping role preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be flexible and adaptable as daily activities change regularly and often.
• Comfortable living and working in close quarters with other crew members.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service by describing menu options and wine pairings.
• Accurately take guest orders noting allergies and dietary needs.
• Set tables, fold napkins, and manage service for three meals per day.
• Assist in galley duties as directed and maintain clean dining areas.
• Thoroughly clean cabins and maintain public spaces.
• Participate in onboard safety training and drills.
