American Cruise Lines invites applications for a Galley Steward position aboard our ships in Sitka, Alaska. You will help ensure proper sanitation of galley items and support guest services to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

The role requires working in a dynamic onboard environment, with responsibilities from cleaning to assisting during events and embarkations. This temporary, full-time position runs up to 28 weeks, with a weekly wage range of $1,000 to $1,400 and bonuses.

Formación

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
• Pre-employment drug test required (including marijuana) for shipboard employees
• Grooming standards limit visible tattoos and piercings
• Temporary employment up to 28 weeks aboard ship

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of galley, cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
• Receive and carry food deliveries up to 50 lbs
• Ensure dishwasher operates properly and report maintenance needs
• Genuinely engage with guests and fulfill galley requests efficiently
• May assist with embarkation greetings and special events including afternoon teas and snacks
