In this role you will communicate with shipboard staff to resolve issues, process invoices, and support procurement processes in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and capacity to respond quickly to issues.
  • Previous experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to commute daily to Salisbury, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and process weekly supply orders for assigned vessels, ensuring on-time fulfillment.
  • Coordinate closely with vendors to confirm product availability, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between onboard staff and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve any order or delivery issues.
  • Monitor and help maintain budget adherence for each vessel’s purchasing activities.
  • Review and process vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
