Qualifications

• 5–10 years of carpentry experience in hotels or cruise ships.
• Ability to travel to and from vessels as required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in English.
• US Coast Guard regulated pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Inspect public areas and stateroom furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Install wallpaper, tile, and carpet.
• Repair and install wood trim and moldings; paint doors, walls, trim.
• Install artwork and TVs; perform general carpentry tasks.
• Manage sub-contractors and ensure work meets terms and quality.
• Complete inspections to ensure quality before ships return to service.
