Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician for the Western Region. The role involves maintaining interior hotel spaces onboard ships, traveling ~70% of the time, and coordinating with Hotel Operations Managers to ensure guest-ready conditions.

The technician will perform carpentry tasks, install wallpaper, tile and carpet, manage safety protocols, and report work progress to the Hotel Operations Manager. Experience in shipboard maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of carpentry experience in hotels or cruise ships.
• Ability to travel to vessels as required.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
• US Coast Guard regulated pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Inspect public areas, stateroom furniture, fixtures and equipment onboard ships.
• Install wallpaper, tile, carpet, wood trim and moldings; repair/replace fixtures.
