Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL, is seeking Certified Respiratory Therapists for PRN opportunities. The CRT will plan and administer respiratory therapies, perform diagnostic testing, and provide care modalities including ventilator management.

• May assume supervisory duties in the absence of a Respiratory Supervisor.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Certified Respiratory Therapist has sound knowledge and proficiency in the performance or respiratory therapies and diagnostic testing. Plans and administers diagnostic and therapeutic treatments with professionalism and expertise. The CRTs are able to provide care modalities to include airway maintenance, cardio respiratory drug administration and cardio respiratory monitoring to include ventilator management. May be given supervisory responsibilities in the absence of a Respiratory Supervisor. Establishes and maintains good rapport with fellow associates, other hospital staff and Medical Staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• (CRT-State) Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
