Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate in Respiratory Therapy from CoARC/CoARTE approved program.
• Licensed RCP (IDFPR) and Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC).
• BLS within 30 days; ACLS within 1 year; NRP within 1 year; PALS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care and other assigned duties per policies.
• Interpret and execute physician orders.
• Ventilator management and checks with appropriate alarms.
• Provide patient education and care, document activities.
• Respond to emergencies and codes; maintain infection control.
