Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities including all forms of respiratory therapy.
• Interprets and executes physician orders.
• Individualizes therapy to meet patient needs and anticipates patient needs.
• Calculates medication dosages and provides patient education.
• Document patient care and therapy details accurately.
• Responds promptly to pages, requests and emergencies.
• Maintains proper infection control and safety procedures.
• Falls within hospital policies and quality control standards.
