Job summary

Job description

A.S Graduation from a two year or longer AMA approved therapist school is desirable. Must be licensed as a respiratory therapist in the state of Arkansas.

Experience

• Previous experience desirable but not necessary.


• Should possess extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.


• Must be able to exercise judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation.

Physical

• Normal hospital environment. Normal/ corrected eyesight. Full range of hearing. Operates computer, IPPB, CPAP, BIPAP and other various respiratory equipment.


• Lifts and carries up to 30lbs.


• Pushes and pulls up to 70lbs.


• Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
