Job summary

Recruiting.com LLC seeks a licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our hospital team in Jonesboro, AR. Responsibilities include preparing and administering treatments and performing departmental procedures under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds an AS degree in respiratory therapy, is licensed in Arkansas, and has knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and clinical medicine. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site role in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• AS degree in respiratory therapy desirable; license as respiratory therapist in Arkansas.
• Experience: knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 30lbs, push/pull up to 70lbs, operates respiratory equipment; safety sensitive position.

Job description

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education
  • A.S Graduation from a two year or longer AMA approved therapist school is desirable. Must be licensed as a respiratory therapist in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience
  • Previous experience desirable but not necessary. Should possess extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. Must be able to exercise judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation.
• Physical
  • Normal hospital environment. Normal/ corrected eyesight. Full range of hearing. Operates computer, IPPB, CPAP, BIPAP and other various respiratory equipment. Lifts and carries up to 30lbs. Pushes and pulls up to 70lbs. Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
