Job summary

Recruiting.com LLC is seeking a licensed respiratory therapist for a safety sensitive hospital role in Arkansas. The position requires AR licensure and an associate degree in respiratory therapy, with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.

Responsibilities include preparing treatments, administering prescribed therapies, and performing departmental procedures under supervision, in a normal hospital setting with standard safety policies.

Qualifications

• A.S graduation from a two year or longer AMA approved therapist school is desirable.
• Must be licensed as a respiratory therapist in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine is desirable; ability to exercise judgment in procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: A.S Graduation from a two year or longer AMA approved therapist school is desirable. Must be licensed as a respiratory therapist in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience: Previous experience desirable but not necessary. Should possess extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. Must be able to exercise judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation.
• Physical: This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information. Normal hospital environment. Normal/ corrected eyesight. Full range of hearing. Operates computer, IPPB, CPAP, BIPAP and other various respiratory equipment. Lifts and carries up to 30lbs. Pushes and pulls up to 70lbs. Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
