Job summary

Poudre School District in Fort Collins is hiring Crossing Guards for Kinard Middle School, Preston Middle School and Webber Middle School. Each opening pays $16.69–$18.69 per hour, with 2 hours per day across 182 calendar days, and the position is ongoing.

Responsibilities include helping students cross intersections safely, communicating incidents to the Director of Transportation, wearing required equipment, and arriving on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete District required professional development courses in a timely manner.
• Criminal background check required for hire.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Crossing Guard Openings By Intersection

• Kechter & Ziegler - Kinard Middle School
• Rock Creek & Ziegler - Preston Middle School
• Seneca & Horsetooth - Webber Middle School
• Pay Range: $16.69-$18.69/hour (min - 12% above min), based on qualifications and experience

Hours/day: 2 hours (1 hour in the morning & 1 hour in the afternoon; work schedule determined by the assigned site)

Work calendar days: 182

Duration of position: Ongoing

SUMMARY:

Maintain the safety of student pedestrians as they cross designated intersections on their way to and from school.
