Job summary

Poudre School District is seeking a Crossing Guard for Cinquefoil Crosswalk to help students cross streets safely before and after school. Hours are 7:15-7:55 AM and 2:15-2:50 PM, with a daily workload of 1.25 hours across 180 workdays.

The position offers a pay range of $16.69-$18.69 per hour, based on qualifications and experience, plus benefits like PERA retirement and paid time off. Requires a high school diploma and background check; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must complete District required professional development courses in a timely manner.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Criminal background check required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist students safely across the street at designated crossing.
• Communicate with assigned supervisor or the Director of Transportation regarding incidences that occur while on duty.
• Be prepared by wearing appropriate equipment at assigned crossing.
• Report promptly at the designated time to the assigned school crossing.
• Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY:

Maintain the safety of student pedestrians as they cross designated intersections on their way to and from school.
