Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Knoxville, TN is sourcing a Transportation/Distribution Supervisor to direct warehouse activities in a cross-dock operation. You will oversee receiving, warehousing, packaging, and shipping while balancing cost objectives and customer service.

Lead 20–25 hourly associates, manage labor plans, and ensure KPI targets are met. Cross-train in Transportation and Transportation Management; participate in safety and process initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in a leadership role with change management.
• Strong listening, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20-25 hourly associates in a fast-paced, 80k sq ft warehouse environment.
• Assist our client with the needs and demands of their supply chain.
• Ensure productivity targets and cost control are met or exceeded.
• Maintain KPI performance: order fill rate accuracy, inventory accuracy, inspections.
• Promote LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and meet safety goals.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and successes to all associates.
• Coach, train, and mentor associates; conduct annual performance reviews.
• Train new hires to ensure understanding of company processes and procedures.
• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
