Job summary

SCT Saddle Creek Transportation Inc in Knoxville, TN, is seeking dependable warehouse staff to support loading, unloading, receiving and shipping activities. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, organize cartons on pallets, and ensure timely, accurate task completion in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and encourage others to do the same.
• Safely operate forklift and/or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and associates to complete tasks.
• Arrange cartons on pallets by size, weight, and height.
• Load trucks considering cubic weight and product characteristics.
• Receive and pick products with little supervision.
• Provide outstanding service to customers with attention to detail and timely work.
• Maintain the distribution center and/or warehouse work area free of trash and correctly locate products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
