Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a distribution/warehouse leader to oversee receiving, shipping, crossdocking, and yard operations at our distribution center in the United States. You will assess daily intake, set staffing levels, and ensure accurate merchandise handling in line with BJ’s policies.

The role requires 3–5 years in distribution/warehousing management and a strong command of distribution fundamentals, with experience in cross dock systems and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Logistics.
• 3–5 years distribution or warehousing management experience.
• Proficient in fundamentals of distribution management.
• Prior cross dock/warehouse management system experience.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, shipping, crossdocking and yard jockey functions.
• Evaluate daily volume to establish staffing for each department to achieve 24-hour merchandise turnover.
• Ensure merchandise is received accurately per BJ’s policies; document vendor charge backs timely.
• Monitor cross dock processes to maximize merchandise flow and asset integrity; ensure safe movement of trailers.
