Job summary

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a Production Technician to operate a variety of mill machinery, learn multiple processes, and participate in cross-training to advance through a skills matrix. You will support clean-up duties and basic troubleshooting as the team works toward safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and forklift experience, with a willingness to work rotating shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and forklift operation experience preferred.
• Ability to operate various machines safely and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines and stations to gain skills
• Learn safe operation of each machine
• Assist with waste transfer and area cleaning
• Use hand tools to move logs and clean area
• Clean machines and work areas daily
• Comply with rules and safety regulations
• Maintain consistent production pace
• Perform other duties as assigned
