Job summary

Leer Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler in Wisconsin to turn customer demand and plant capacity into an efficient production plan.

You will coordinate priorities across Production, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to keep work moving and support on-time delivery. Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in production scheduling or related fields, experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred), and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field—or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• One to three or more years of experience in production scheduling, planning, material coordination, or shop floor control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Epicor experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, and lookup functions.
• Strong organization, communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate priorities across Production, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.
• Sequence production, create work orders, and adjust schedules for changing demand, downtime, shortages, and expedited requests.
• Monitor daily output and schedule attainment, making real-time decisions to support on-time delivery.
• Align shop floor priorities and production readiness with supervisors and leads.
• Partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, Warehouse, and Sales to resolve constraints and confirm order requirements.
• Support planning tools, reports, and process improvements.
