Job summary

Leer Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler to translate customer demand and plant capacity into an actionable production plan. You will coordinate priorities across Production, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, and Warehouse to keep work moving and support on-time delivery.

You will monitor daily output, sequence production, adjust schedules for changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve constraints and improve planning tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 1–3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, material coordination, or shop floor control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Epicor experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, and lookup functions.
• Strong organization, communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

You will coordinate priorities across Production, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, and Warehouse teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze ERP demand and prioritize work based on lead times, ship dates, plant capacity, and customer needs.
• Sequence production, create work orders, and adjust schedules for changing demand, downtime, shortages, and expedited requests.
• Monitor daily output and schedule attainment, making real-time decisions to support on-time delivery.
• Align shop floor priorities and production readiness with supervisors and leads.
• Partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, Warehouse, and Sales to resolve constraints and confirm order requirements.
• Support planning tools, reports, and process improvements.

What You Bring

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field—or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• One to three or more years of experience in production scheduling, planning, material coordination, or shop floor control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Epicor experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, and lookup functions.
