The position involves precise sample preparation, line inspections, data recording, and safety-compliant testing. About 20% time may be spent supporting extrusion operations in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
• Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary
• Willingness to learn new test methods and equipment
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements
• Experience in a materials testing laboratory or quality assurance environment
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsabilités

• Exact preparation of test samples according to established procedures
• Execution of line in-process inspections and laboratory tests
• Use of precision inspection instruments (micrometers, drop gauges, Hipot testers, tensile testers)
• Record entry and light analysis of inspection and test data
• Defect reporting and compilation of inspection results
• Adherence to safety protocols during testing and handling
• Approximately 20% time supporting extrusion operations
• Adherence to PPE and safety during manufacturing operations
