Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as required.
• Experience with IEP processes and specially designed instruction preferred.
• Familiarity with FERPA and student confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops IEPs for students with disabilities and implements them.
• Implements instructional strategies and progress monitoring tools for SLD.
• Assists students in completing curriculum tasks and IEP goals.
• Employs varied teaching methods and materials to meet student needs.
• Monitors classroom behavior and teaches appropriate behavioral strategies.
• Evaluates student progress and coordinates grades and reports.
• Attends IEP meetings as a collaborative team member.
• Keeps abreast of instructional best practices through professional development.
