Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Specialist III Process, Standards & Training to develop and publish commercial training programs for the ADUSA brands. You will onboard new associates, manage training plans, and collaborate across brands on major initiatives while ensuring SOPs and training materials are aligned.

The role involves governance of content, governance of SOPs, and cross-functional coordination. The position features a hybrid schedule with three in-person days at core locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5-7 years managing cross-functional training and process improvement initiatives, process standards, and onboarding solutions.
• PROSCI Certification or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to leverage adult learning and instructional design methodologies.
• Ability to create process documentation for assigned functional areas, guiding SOP development, standard updates, and process mapping.
• Self-motivated to meet multiple deadlines and business objectives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of leadership and peers to ensure alignment and commitment.
• Exceptional presentation, oral and written communications skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from a variety of sources.
• Proficient at influencing others without authority and leverages a consultative approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Share Point, LMS and Excel

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain role specific training plans, processes, and standards for assigned areas.
• Make enhancements to course content as needed to improve the learner's experience.
• Develop courseware, to include Interactive multimedia instruction that resonates with adult learners.
• Ensure alignment and adherence to control guidelines for all training programs, processes, standards, and resources developed, including leading readiness planning for major process or system changes.
• Lead governance of training content, including version control, cross-brand content alignment, and integration with enterprise competency models.
• Serve as the primary process documentation lead for assigned functional areas, guiding SOP development, standard updates, and process mapping.
• Maintain SharePoint sites, Knowledge Center, and other documentation repositories.
• Translate complex commercial concepts into easily understandable language & drive continuous improvement on processes, learning resources, and associate engagement.
• Support the development and execution of all training events providing logistical, process and documentation support to facilitate business subject matter experts.
• Manage the onboarding learning and process for associates new to role.
• Serve as a cross-brand training & process liaison, coordinating intake of training & process needs and ensuring alignment on standards and role expectations.
• Review and validate SOP changes for training impact; ensure updated process content is incorporated into documentation repositories and training curriculums.
• Utilize innovative approaches to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training solutions.
• Recommend metrics to measure training results.
• Establishes change interventions and leverages PROSCI methodology as needed.
