Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years in import/export, customs compliance, or international trade.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian customs regulations and cross-border trade processes.
• Experience with temporary importation, re-exportation, duty drawback, bonded programs, FTZs, and other customs procedures.
• Experience managing customs brokers and third-party logistics providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import, temporary import, and re-export activities across US and Canada.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulations and cross-border requirements.
• Lead customs programs including temporary imports, duty relief, duty drawback, and bonded programs.
• Support product launches and supply chain changes requiring customs readiness.
• Oversee customs brokers and service providers and drive performance.
• Manage import documentation, permits, licenses, and declarations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Lead customs audits and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure movement of goods.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
