Job summary
Referment is working with an established Florida law firm seeking a corporate transactional attorney for its Miami practice. This opportunity is for a lawyer with an existing portable book of business who wants to continue developing that practice while working on a broader range of corporate and cross-border matters.
The firm advises businesses with domestic and international interests, with a strong focus on cross-border transactions in Latin American markets.
Qualifications
- Admitted to the Florida Bar.
- Minimum five years of corporate and international business experience in private practice.
- Established, portable book of business to bring to the firm.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Experience with cross-border transactions in Latin America (e.g., Mexico, Brazil, Peru).
- Excellent legal writing and drafting, and strong client communication skills.
- Experience with trademark matters in a corporate/commercial context.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on corporate transactions and international business matters.
- Draft and negotiate business agreements.
- Handle matters with cross-border implications and trademark considerations.
- Maintain and develop relationships with the portable client base.
