Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, seeks a proactive agricultural sales professional to grow and manage a portfolio of growers. You will advise on inputs, ensure timely deliveries, and implement strategies to boost sales of proprietary products.

Strong credit assessment and relationship skills are essential for success. Experience in agriculture, a degree (or equivalent), and proficiency with Word/Excel are required.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience using standard concepts within the agriculture industry, and application of agricultural chemicals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase agricultural inputs sales and meet sales goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time delivery and quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe actions to resolve issues.
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk and inform credit limits.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
