Job summary

AgVantage FS is seeking a Custom Applicator to help farmers grow the best crops by applying crop production inputs and handling blending and delivery of products in accordance with label directions. You will record data and set up equipment for efficient applications, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, the ability to obtain state pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-focused

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain applicable pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses in states where inputs are applied.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Team-player who can work with colleagues and customers.
• Able to work in hot/cold, dusty, or noisy environments with appropriate safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Apply crop inputs to fields according to labeled recommendations and standards.
• Record application data according to regulations.
• Set up and operate material handling, blending, storage, transport and application equipment.
• Blend products according to recommended rates and procedures.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while performing duties.
