Northern Ag seeks an Administrative Assistant to support crop insurance agents and brokers in Roseau, Minnesota. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, client communications, and data management across MPCI and reporting tasks.

The ideal candidate brings strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment. A Minnesota license within 12 months and experience in agriculture or insurance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minnesota Crop Insurance Agent License must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• 1–3 years of experience in agriculture, insurance, marketing, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support crop insurance agents and brokers with day-to-day operations.
• Schedule appointments, send reminders, and communicate with clients.
• Enter, process, and verify MPCI and hail insurance reports.
• Maintain spreadsheets and tracking tools for deadlines and project progress.
• Coordinate batch mailings and client communications.
• Assist with event planning, meetings, and special events.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
