Job summary

MFA Incorporated is seeking a Crop Consultant to scout acres across the assigned territory, report results with recommendations, and promote Crop-Trak crop consulting across the region.

The role includes developing variable rate fertility recommendations and other precision-service tasks, all performed under MFA policy. Prior agronomy background and a CCA (preferred) will support success in this position.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Agronomy (preferred).
• CCA Certificate (preferred).
• Agriculture background (helpful).
• Knowledge of Field Crops (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scout acres across assigned territory and report results with recommendations.
• Promote and grow the Crop-Trak crop consulting service in the territory.
• Develop variable rate fertility recommendations and other precision-service aspects.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policy.

The Crop Consultant will scout acres across their assigned territory to give customers a report of the results with any needed recommendations. They will also be asked to promote and grow the Crop-Trak crop consulting service throughout their assigned territory. This position also requires some responsibilities for developing variable rate fertility recommendations among other aspects of precision services. All duties must be performed in accordance with company policy.
