Job summary
Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is assisting a Northwest Indiana healthcare provider in East Chicago, IN, to recruit a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, permanent role.
The position includes a mix of day hours and on-call rotations, with competitive hourly compensation and relocation assistance. The successful candidate will hold an accredited nurse anesthesia degree, state RN and APRN licenses, NBCRNA certification, ACLS/BLS, and familiarity with Epic EMR
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- Current state RN license.
- Current state APRN license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the NBCRNA.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations.
- Develop anesthesia care plans based on patient history and surgical needs.
- Select, obtain, and administer anesthetics and related drugs and fluids.
- Manage airway and pulmonary status during anesthesia.
- Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
- Provide post-anesthesia follow-up care and evaluate patient response.
