Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group in North Carolina is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team. You will contribute to high-quality patient care across the perioperative continuum in collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a COA-accredited nurse anesthesia program.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review data of patient’s medical and surgical history in relation to the planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per accepted standards.
• Monitor airway, depth of anesthesia, fluid status, and physiologic response to anesthesia to ensure patient safety.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note.
• Log incident reporting in the computerized Safety Portal.

Education

Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
