UAB Medicine is hiring a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical and cardio-thoracic procedures. The role includes participation in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Eligible candidates will have graduated from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing and required ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Work experience cannot substitute for education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
