Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations.

The position also involves participating in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students, contributing to patient safety, quality of care, and ongoing professional education within our nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
