Job summary

UAB Medicine is recruiting a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a range of procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and catheterizations. You will also participate in educating nurse anesthesia students as part of clinical instruction.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• CRNA certification by Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
