Job summary

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Previous CRNA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care.
• Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care and corrects abnormal patient responses.
• Participates, develops, and implements performance and/or quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to the legal and ethical standards of nursing and of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists; follows safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Acts as a clinical resource to interdisciplinary health care team; may mentor staff or students.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
