Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthetic care in the surgical setting at Wexford Hospital. The role requires active RN licensure in PA or multi-state licensure via eNLC and CRNA certification, with CPR and background clearances mandatory.

Responsibilities include preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and the health care team.

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure or eNLC required.
• CRNA certification by NBCRNA required.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Act 34/Act 33/Act 73 background clearances required.
• PALS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all surgical patients.
• Provide continuous observation of patients under anesthesia and address abnormal responses.
• Document medical records accurately and coordinate with supervising physicians.
• Serve as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary team and mentor staff.
