Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and document anesthesia care while collaborating with surgeons and the anesthesia team.

The role emphasizes continuous patient monitoring, responding to intraoperative changes, adherence to AANA and HIPAA standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within a supportive interdisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• CRNA certification required or NBCRNA certification.
• Current PA RN licensure or active eNLC multi-state licensure.
• Previous CRNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for surgical patients with accurate documentation.
• Continuously monitors patients under anesthesia and addresses abnormal responses in consultation with the attending physician.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and adheres to legal/ethical standards.
• Acts as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary health care team and mentors staff or students.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
