Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the NBCRNA/boards.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care.
• Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care and corrects abnormal patient responses; involves attending physician in plan of care and in clinical decisions.
• Participates, develops, and implements performance and/or quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to legal and ethical standards of nursing and AANA; follows safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Acts as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary health care team; may mentor new staff or students.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
