Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by COA.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting and evaluating data from the patient history for the planned procedure.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluids, and physiologic response to ensure patient safety.
• Completes required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
