Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care across procedures within our network. The role emphasizes patient safety, data review prior to procedures, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring of anesthesia depth and physiologic status.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the COA or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Assists with gathering and evaluating patient data related to medical history for planned procedures.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Continuously monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status and physiologic responses for patient safety.
• Completes required documentation including surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incidents in the computerized Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
