Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters in nursing and a certificate from an approved Nurse Anesthetist program.
• Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
• ACLS, PALS, and BCLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-anesthetic evaluations and administers pre-operative medications.
• Verifies patient identity and proceeding procedures; ensures anesthesia readiness.
• Operates and maintains anesthesia equipment and supplies; ensures drug availability.
• Establishes/instrument lines and monitors; adapts anesthesia plan to patient needs.
• Provides regional, MAC sedation and general anesthesia with supervision as applicable.
