Nash UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the NGH Anesthesia team. The role involves administering regional, MAC sedation, and general anesthesia in the operating room, with an emphasis on patient safety and high-quality care.
The CRNA will work with a skilled team in a full-time, onsite capacity, supporting a variety of surgical cases and labor and delivery epidurals, under state regulations and professional standards.

The CRNA will employ multiple modalities, including regional anesthesia, MAC sedation and general anesthesia, in the operating room to provide adequate analgesia or anesthesia during surgical procedures. The CRNA scope of practice is defined by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the North Carolina Practice Act. Providers are accountable to the North Carolina Board of Nursing for practicing nursing within the scope of the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act.
The CRNA will work with an exceptional team who support full scope nurse anesthesia practice. Great mix of cases including general, orthopedics, urology, plastics, GYN, podiatry, dental, ENT, ophthalmology. Out of department procedures include endoscopy, cardioversions/TEE, and IR. There are no hearts or lungs. CRNAs function independently to provide labor epidurals on a designated labor and delivery tract.
Education Requirements:
Masters in nursing and certificate graduate of approved Nurse Anesthetist program.
