Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
• Experience delivering anesthesia in a clinical setting considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data related to medical and surgical history.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluids, and physiologic responses to ensure patient safety.
• Completes documentation such as surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessments, intra-operative records, and transfer-of-care notes.
• Logs incidents in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
